Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of Spotfluence (spotfluence.co.uk), a marketplace connecting local businesses with influencers. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@spotfluence.co.uk.
1. The service
Businesses post collaboration opportunities ("jobs"); influencers create profiles and apply. Businesses on a paid plan can view influencer profiles, follower counts and contact details to arrange collaborations. Our optional expert services (Level 2 and Level 3) help businesses write adverts, plan content and match influencers.
Collaborations are agreed directly between the business and the influencer. Spotfluence is not a party to those agreements, does not employ influencers and is not responsible for the work delivered, payment between the parties, or the results of a collaboration.
2. Accounts
- You must be 18 or over and give accurate information, including follower counts and business details.
- Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person or business per account. Do not impersonate anyone.
3. Fees and payment
- Influencers pay a one-off activation fee to appear in the directory and apply for jobs.
- Businesses pay per job according to the plan chosen (Level 1, 2 or 3), and may buy optional featured listings. Current prices are shown on the Pricing page and before you pay.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Refunds: fees cover access to the platform and are generally non-refundable once the job is published or the profile activated, except where the law requires otherwise or where we fail to provide the service. For Level 2 and 3, you only pay after approving the advert or brief we prepare. If something has gone wrong, contact us and we will review your request fairly.
4. Using contact details and content
- Contact details you see on Spotfluence may only be used to discuss and arrange collaborations. Do not use them for unrelated marketing, spam, or share or sell them to others.
- Do not post anything unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, harassing or infringing, and do not attempt to bypass our security or misuse the platform.
- Reviews must be honest and based on a real collaboration. We may remove reviews that are abusive, contain personal data or are clearly false.
- You keep ownership of the content you post, and give us permission to display it on the platform to provide the service.
5. Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk. You can close your account at any time by contacting us; we will delete your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
We provide the platform with reasonable care and skill but cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free, or that a job will attract applicants. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you about significant changes by email. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
